Psychodynamic Psychology
Looking beneath visible behaviour: at formative experiences, unconscious dynamics, inner conflicts and the relationships that shape us.
Psychology · Breathwork · Entrepreneurship
I explore what helps people live with greater awareness, connection and aliveness — in relationship with themselves, with others and with the world around them.

About
After studying psychology, I was initially drawn into the startup world. I co-founded a company and helped build it over several years as COO. That time shaped me — as did the experience of eventually reaching my own limits. A period of burnout and reorientation brought me back to questions that had occupied me for a long time: What makes a good life? Which inner patterns shape us? And what helps us live with greater integrity rather than simply functioning?
Today, both sides inform my work: professional training and the experience of having moved through entrepreneurship, overload, change and professional reorientation myself.
My perspective brings together psychodynamic psychology, systemic coaching, breathwork, meditation and embodied self-exploration. I am less concerned with optimising the self than with understanding patterns, conflicts, relationships and needs — and creating greater freedom to live consciously.

Background
My work is shaped by in-depth professional training and by working with people across different contexts — from entrepreneurial practice to therapeutic settings.
Topics & projects
The common thread is a curiosity about how inner experience, relationships and the structures around us shape the way we live.
Looking beneath visible behaviour: at formative experiences, unconscious dynamics, inner conflicts and the relationships that shape us.
An evolving approach where breathing, embodied experience and psychodynamic reflection meet.
Drawing on my own experience as a founder, I am interested in how products, organisations and technologies can better serve human needs — rather than reducing people to metrics.
heldby.me brings together entrepreneurial experience, technological curiosity and the question of how people can be supported in meaningful ways. The platform brings everything around your events into one simple flow — from booking to coming back.

Psychodynamic Breath
“What does what emerges mean?”
Psychodynamic Breath is an evolving approach at the intersection of breathwork, embodiment and psychodynamic thinking. Bodily sensations and emotions are not viewed in isolation, but explored in relation to needs, inner conflicts and recurring patterns in relationships.
The experience itself matters — and so does what happens afterwards: finding language, reflecting on meaning and integrating what has emerged into everyday life.
What guides me
Inner development is less about creating an optimised self and more about becoming less disconnected from ourselves.
Noticing what moves within us, making room for ambivalence and relating to ourselves with honesty and care.
Understanding the patterns through which we seek closeness, protect ourselves and shape relationships.
Seeing ourselves as part of a larger living context — social, ecological and more-than-human.
Beyond work
Meditation, yoga and breathwork have accompanied me for years. I find energy in music, perspective in nature, and keep returning to the question of what makes a good life. I live in Cologne — and probably feel most at home somewhere between the therapy room, the dance floor and a mountain trail.
